HOW TO SUPPORT
KARRENTS.
Karrents is an independent, non-commercial cultural fellowship. We do not sell user data, run advertisements, or rely on venture capital. We exist through the shared resources, material generosity, and dedication of people who believe knowledge belongs in motion.
OUR OPERATIONAL INDEPENDENCE
Karrents is an independent international community initiative and cultural association. We do not claim registered charity or non-profit tax-exempt status, and financial contributions are not tax-deductible.
We deliberately remain independent of partisan political funding and speculative corporate sponsors to preserve our freedom to focus solely on uncompromised knowledge exchange. Every contribution received goes directly to tangible community utility: maintaining our open archive, printing field monographs, transcribing oral histories, and providing micro-stipends for elders and apprentices traveling to workshops.
SIX WAYS TO SUSTAIN KARRENTS
Direct ways to provide practical infrastructure and resources for the fellowship.
Offer Physical Venue Space
Manage a carpentry studio, agricultural plot, library room, or architectural office? Offer 2 hours monthly for a local Circle or Session to gather.
Audio & Field Gear
Lend broadcast-quality audio recorders, microphones, camera kits, or transcription software licenses to help our teams record elder oral lineages.
Translation & Linguistic Care
Fluent in Swahili, Somali, Yoruba, Amharic, French, Swedish, or Arabic? Volunteer to translate Karrents Field Guides into indigenous vernaculars.
Apprentice Travel Stipends
Fund the bus fare, meal, or workshop material kit for a rural student or apprentice traveling to sit beside a master practitioner during an intensive session.
Print & Paper Sponsorship
Help us print physical, durable booklet editions of Karrents Field Guides on archival paper to distribute in rural libraries with no digital screens.
Sustaining Solidarity Patron
Contribute monthly or quarterly unrestricted solidarity funds directly to the Karrents operational treasury. Transparent quarterly ledger accounting.
